My 2001 93 3dr has very serious leak. When I poured water here, just a little, water dripped inside.

It leaks at the gap between the body and the rear window inside.

Can anyone please tell me how I can fix this? Thanks.

Just a quick question @himhk - did your car have roof racks installed previously at all?

Winter is coming (here in HK no rain in winter), but just faced two rare typhoons in the past week. It leaks so bad the whole truck was wet, and the water even past to the spare tire and there was a water puddle on it.

Just tried to pull the top panel. It is not leaking from the hole for the nut/bolt. It is definitely leaking from the window. Tried to use some duct tape to cover the leak spot, it just reduces the amount of water coming in, but it is still leaking. Sigh

I better fix it before spring.

No separate seal.
Take window out (secured with screws/nuts), cut butyl sealant and clean. Apply new butyl sealant.

Thank you for the info! This is great as I don’t have to wait any parts to be shipped!
