I just tossed my set of Bridgestone Blizzak WS50 (down to ~ 3mm) used for my '09 Odyssey, and am casually looking for a good bargain set of winters. On CL I came across a set of brand new Continental ContiCross Winter 225/75R16 for C$300 (seller bought them for company fleet truck, but truck was later sold but these tires never put on). Quite the steal since new retail they're around C$160 each for this size. BTW these Contis are rated for 104T load index whereas our POS OEM Michelin LX4 are at 103T, so no problem in that regard.

But given these are winter tires with softer compounds with a higher sidewall profile (and the aforementioned sizing differences), I'm cautious about buying them. The 225/75 size exceeds OEM diameter by +3%
