I bought a new Saab 9-3 yesterday and changed the date on the clock from 2003 to 2012. This morning the "Time For Service" displayed and I'm sure that it's due to the clock date change. How do I reset it?

I called the dealer, but they said bring it in Monday. I said that I'll call for instructions on the reset.

Can anybody help?

In this forum area we go by a calender and/or the car's odometer.
Try the place for the 2011 9-3 for an useful answer.;ol;

What earthworm said... you need the 9-3 SS forum.

But, on our generation, you just hold the "clear" button down for 30 seconds and the message resets. There's likely something similar in yours.

I did a repost in the ss forum. There is no clear on the 2011 9-3's.

Thanks for directing me.
