Hi, our 2008 9-3 driver side window won't go up all the way. Don't think it's a calibration issue, we tried that, but even after pulling fuse #5 (which has worked in the past), it still won't go up the last 3-4 inches. Holding the child lock down doesn't help either. Disconnected the battery, the door hinge connection, everything. Nothing seems to help. The passenger door calibrates fine and beeps, fyi.

Anyone have any other ideas?

Thanks!

Well, funny thing is, this had happened before and I followed the posts here to recalibrate it. Then it happened again last night and hubby pulled the fuse. He took 5 & 15 out and back in again. Followed instructions, but right away the window was acting odd. It seemed to sort of bind up slower as it got up to about 3-4 inches from the top and stop as though it were struggling. Noticed the interior lights dimmed slightly as it tried to roll up also. Asked him if he put the fuses in backwards, but we checked and both are correct.

As per other posts, he wiped a silicone lubricant on the rubber window seal but not really any improvement. So odd, at a loss as to what to do.

Thank you!

hmmm...regulator might be bound up. Pull off the door panel and have a look at the cable.

Great, thanks for the help. Haven't been able to get hubby to take a look yet, had another issue with the car, key not recognized. So now will have to post about that. THEN we'll try this for the window. Thx!
