I recently blew the output stage on my Amp2 (woofer amp in the trunk)... I've found a used Amp2 from a 2007 9-3... I'm just wondering if they're compatible. I read somewhere that Saab stopped using the fiber-optics @ some point.

Thanks
D

why don't you take the amp to an electronics repair shop? Aurora radio
has fixed many electronics for me, amps,tv's industrial electronics etc.
:suprised;

I was thinkin' it may be difficult for them to test it since it uses a proprietary digital input, but I guess they can tap into it, post DAC (They can figure that out)

Thanks for the advice, Mechone

saab fiberoptics is the "most" system also used by BMW ,MB and Jag
I think it stands for media oriented systems transport.Anyways I think a shop can test each component ,maybe you blew output transistors and will have to be tested in car
