Hi,

My SAAB 9-3 has just started generating an error for the battery not charging. When i check the battery with a volt meter when off i get 12.7 volts. When i check the battery while on i see 14.2 volts. Also when the headlights are on at idle they are flickering. What is most likely the cause? Should i get a new battery?

Bad alternator.

Hi Mimmi,

Yep Bad alternator I was over charging the battery causing it to leak.
