Hi,
Does anyone know if I can use an older model wing mirror glass and mounting clip on a 2007 9-5 Aero estate. The Glass is cracked and the mounting clip is broken, it's an autodimming wing mirror right hand drive passengers side wing mirror.
I would probably prefer to butcher an old complete wing mirror if it's possible, there are plenty of used '98-'04 units for sale. I'm not bothered about the autodimming mirror, standard replacement will be fine if possible
So I'm thinking if I just buy a complete used unit from an older model would I be able to botch something together. The exterior is fine, just the mirror itself and the mounting plate + clip it connects to. Anyone know off hand if they've got the same mounting clips?
