I'm getting random positioning and low beam failures, left and right sides. In searches, the cause 90%+ of the time seems to be broken solder joints in the headlight/headlamp relay (a.k.a. the "orange relay").

I was so excited about saving a few (hundred) bucks, you can imagine my disappointment when I opened up the box and saw the orange relay wasn't there.

Is there an equivalent to the orange relay in the 2007 9-3? If it matters, 6-cylinder turbo.

look down the side of the battery box on the inner arch bulkhead...water often gets into the multiplug and shorts things out.
