Hello all,

I have a 2006 9-3 SportCombi with the left headlight stuck on. It will not turn off even with the key removed. The only way to shut it off is to pull the fuse or disconnect the battery. Just purchased this car a few weeks ago and the left headlight was not working. Determined it was a bad ballast and replaced the ballast. Now it won't turn off! I removed the entire left side headlight assembly and swapped it with the right side assembly to see if it was the assembly or something else. When I plugged in the right side assembly to to left side, it came on and wouldn't turn off. The left side assembly worked normally when plugged into the right side. So it seems the assembly is not the problem.

Anyone have a clue what is causing this?
Is there a headlight relay in the 2006 9-3 SportCombi?
Do the 2006 9-3 and 2006 9-3 SportCombi have the same setup internally?

Thank you for your help.

Yes they have same headlights. I would guess bad fuse box but first I'd start tracing wiring, make sure ground is good.
