Does anyone know if a 2003-2007 9-3 front bumper is basically the same for the convertible, Aero, and Linear? I am in need of a front bumper for a 2005 9-3 Linear. I can't find a used front bumper for a Linear, but I see tons for a convertible and the Aero. I called my local dealer and they told me that there is a difference and they will not interchange or bolt up on the other cars (convertible to Linear, or vice-versa). But one of the bumper wholesalers I spoke with said it doesn't matter. That the only difference is the "Aero type" painted front spoiler?

Anybody got any ideas or experience with this? Auto-body gurus?

Think you have a little confusion between your car body types and trim levels; convertible is a body type, Linear and Aero are trim levels, which are available on all three body types, convertible, sedan and sportwagon.

A front bumper from any trim level should be interchangable with any other trim level from the same body type, but I couldn't say whether they're interchable with other body types.

I know the rear bumper is different between body types, but that's an obvious difference.

They are all the same. No matter wich trim or body type

Aero has different lower trim spoiler, which is seperate from the main bumperpart.

From 2008 onwards the bumpers are different between the trim types.

thanks!! I ended up finding a website called "partsgeek.com" and it led me to quite a few sites that had brand new aftermarket bumpers for very cheap! About $230 bucks for a brand new one...
