well, it looks like I have some more work to do

I want to focus on removing the fuses and relays to the non-essential components that are throwing error codes.

It looks like I have some serious electrical issues to work out after I get the engine working properly. My main focus right now is the fuel system. Im getting rough idle and apparently misfires. Ive changed the spark plugs and wires. My fuel system is having problems. I need to fix the gas gauge not working and as you can see above, it doesn’t even recognizethe evap system. Any tips on what to try to get my fuel gauge working as well as test the evap system? It has a new fuel pump and that did not fix the problem. What components should I check other than the fuel pump which is brand new?

I posted a video which shows how the car is idling. Ive just replaced thethrottle body and the car has its power back, but itsrunning very poorly and will sometimes still go into limp mode. Any suggestions on getting this car running more smoothly so I can drive it while working out the non-essential components?

thanks

What spark plugs and coils you use?
Your pic shows only 50C engine temp. That is not enough for O2, cat etc.

I'm not sure what plugs and coils I used, can you recommend new plugs? I figured I would probably have to take them out anyway and expect them. What should the engine temp be? Does this mean the plugs are not firing properly? or??

What plugs should I try? I guess I can try new plugs if you think it will help, and if it does fix the misfire, then I will be happy! If it doesn't, I can try the wires... and then whatever else!!

Thank you for your help!!

Well, it shows the codes in the video... I have so many codes that as I fix things, more pop up and develop... I have new codes since the last time I wrote them down. I will make a text list of the codes to post in here. Thanks for your help, I will get the updated codes typed out and come back soon!! ty bro

Only original coils will work, no exceptions.
Use NGK PFR6T-10G spark plugs.
Normal engine temp is around 85-95C.
Awesome!! Thanks bro! I am going to buy these! Later tonight I am going to look at the video and write down all the error codes. My main focus is to get the engine running smoothly with the gas gauge working. I believe is has the factory could on it, and if these plugs don't fix the misfire, I think maybe I should replace the coils first or the wires first?

I am worried that maybe some components were damaged. I had water leak in through the cabin filter and there was a pretty good char on the blower connector. I replaced the blower and used the same board.. I inspected the board and there was no damage. It looks like it is now working after changing. I'm also having a really hard time with the lights, I think maybe there is a failed component there, and maybe a wiring fault. I'm thinking maybe I should pull all the fuses to these systems until I have the engine running correctly???

What do you think? Change the plugs, then wires, then coils? I'm buying these plugs then what is the next step? I suppose I should pull the plugs out first and inspect them to see if they are already the correct plug?

ok, thanks a lot, I am going to come back later and post all my error codes!!

Thanks a bunch!!

OK bud, do you think I need new coils? If so, I will buy new coils... Should I wait until I make sure I have the correct plugs?

Fuel sender issues are common on these cars. Do a search.

What codes do you have?
I will come back later!! I think there is an evaporations code and some other fuel system related.. I did replace a purge valve and I think maybe it was the culprit, but it didn't fix the problem. I'm not sure where to start with fuel system diagnosis but I think it may be purge valve related, and definitely an evap problem... How do I diagnose the fuel system?

Thanks so much

Well, heres a problem. Oil in the plug boots and all over plugs.

The plugs in here are NGK BKR6EEIX

I replaced the gasket and maybe I need to replace it again. I don’t think there should be oil in there like that!! 😂

You should replace spark plugs and coils ASAP. They look horrible.
Have you erased all DTCs before read?
yes

I will replace the plugs and coils, but my question to you is… why are they that oily? Is that normal? Should there be a little oil in there like that? It looks like oil and gas? I did replace the valve gasket? It this normal for it having missfires and for it running poorly? Is it normal for this liquid to be there?

thanks

They look that they were in place since 2010. I'd say that these caused your issues.
No oil etc. supposed to be there.

Remember that only original coil and NGK spark plug will work.

Are those DTCs after erase and re-read?
Yes, recently erased after new throttle body. Where is a good place to buy these new coils and plugs?

do you think the gaskets are ok or, just a problem with misfires causing this oily gas?
Do you think the evap system may play a role in this? Sure, im going to replace them to spec, im just looking ahead to try and predict if anything other than non oem coils and plugs could be playing a role here. 😀

you've got engine oil leaking into the plug chamber(should be bone dry) from failed rocker cover gasket..
ok, thats what I thought 😭😂 Ive replaced it before. Might hire it done, but I will probably take it off myself and see if I can get it on there correctly.

any tips are appreciated!

thanks for helping 😀

ACC B1927 seat heater censor failure, typically wire broken. Check wiring loom between ACC and seat(s), if they are OK, replace heater element.
ACC B0166 cabin temp sensor failure: Check wiring loom between ACC and sensor, if OK, replace sensor.
ACM B0084 seat position sensor failure, check wiring under seat.
BCM B0158 ambient sensor failure. Check wiring and if OK, replace sensor.
BCM B3812 cabin ultrasonic sensor failure, check wiring looms between BCM-REC-cabin light assy. If ok, replace sensor.
DDM B1595 driver door mirror motor failure. Check wiring between DDM and mirror, if ok, replace mirror motor.
T8 several failures, possible T8 failure, replace T8.
REC several failures. Replace bulbs.
STC B1300 1st bow lock failure. Check wiring, if OK, replace lock module.
awesome! Ty bro!! I have work to do, thanks for your help!! 😀
