I recently purchased this wagon and when I put the gear in reverse, "park assist" fault comes up. I am assuming that I need to replace the sensors. How do I do it? Do I remove the rear bumper? If so, how do I remove it? Any help would be greatly appreciated.

U will need a scan tool to figure out what failed !
A burnt fuse, or unplugged sensor could do the same.. no way all sensors failed, they ain't cheap

Genuine sensors certainly ain’t cheap and as regards scrap yard replacements - are you feeling lucky?!

In Europe we can get a set for £30 approx. Obviously they’re aftermarket but reports are good. They’re not unique to Saab, so an alternative is to find which other cars use the same type.

the 4-door car allows replacement with the clip still on the car but not the wagon. Not technically difficult to remove it and I’m sure there are YouTube clips. Be advise that when you actually take it off the short wiring loom is attached at the left end, and the bumper needs supporting until the connector is released.

You need TECH2 to determine where fault is lying.
I use PSA sensors, they are same as Saab sensors, but about 1/3 of price.
I have tried cheap chinese sensors, I do not recommend them.

PSA is Peugeot Citroen.
