Hi,
I am new to the forum and I had to quick questions about my Saab. I'm pretty sure I like my Saab more than it likes me, but none the less, I wont be letting it go for a while. It is a 2003 9-3 Arc with a 6-speed manual transmission. My first question is regarding my transmission because it seems that my 5th. gear has decided to stop working. When I try to shift into it, it feels like it gets about halfway engaged and doesn't go any farther. It makes a very high pitched grinding noise but not like the grinding a gear. My theory is that it's the syncro gear but I'm not sure. My second question is regarding installing an aux cord, and if you can get the tech2 programming at a GM dealership or if you have to go to a designated Saab dealership (as those are getting hard to come by nowadays). And also how much they will charge to do the programming. Any replies would be greatly appreciated!
