Hi all , my car was locked and when I tried to unlock it my fob just wouldn't work.. so I replaced the battery, placed it in the ignition and it started the car no problem, but will not lock or unlock the car. Any ideas on what I need to try. I'm in Selsey,West Sussex in the UK.

Fob battery, fob itself?
Starting car means only that IMMO chip is present (in fob). Chip do not need power.

Common for the battery to be put in badly and then end up with a crushed (broken) battery post...or microswitches have failed(again common)
You can easilt check the key motherboard with a multimeter for continuity of connections and then repair the key yourself (kits on Ebay) or send it away for repair(again Ebay).

Thanks I shall give it a go, as none of the buttons work.
