Description:
I have spent the last three years restoring and upgrading this fully-optioned Saab 9-5 Aero Wagon. I have spent over $15,000 in parts mechanically and cosmetically bringing the car up to my OCD standards. There is no deferred maintenance on this car. All major systems have been gone through; engine mounts and sensors, cooling, suspension, fuel delivery, brakes, tires. All wear parts, normal 9-5 gremlins, and “while you’re in there” parts have been replaced with Saab/Orio parts or OEM. In addition to the extensive mechanical reconditioning, the car has been treated to a host of performance upgrades. There’s better handling and response from Powerflex (purple) bushings, a Bilstein B12 kit, SAS front and rear sway bars, and a Krona strut tower brace. Faster stopping thanks to Brembo calipers, EBC 314mm slotted front discs and SS lines. And 3rd gear shenanigans are even more grin-inducing with the Brew City Boost Stage 3 tune and supporting upgrades, including a Saab diesel inlet snorkel, Genuine Saab SS turbo intake pipe, Do88 big intercooler kit with 2.5” intake pipe and silicone hoses, Genuine Saab SS 3” downpipe and Maptun 2.5” cat-back exhaust. It’s all finished off with new 17” ALU 50 wheels and Bridgestone Blizzak LM001 tires. The car is incredibly clean inside and out, with some minor exterior and interior imperfections befitting the age and mileage. This car is fully sorted and upgraded. It is fast, comfortable, reliable, and ready for the next owner.
