Hi,

I came across a 2003 9-3 at the wreckers the other day and the seats are almost new!

I have the 1997 900S\NG900 v6 and know that many parts can easily be ported across from a 9-3 to a 900S\NG900 without any problems.

I just don't know if the 2003 9-3 seats can be transferred to a 1997 900S\NG900 as the 9-3 seats seem to have more functionality (eg, electrical adjustment controls, etc) than the 900S\NG900.

Can anyone shed some light as to whether the 9-3 seats can be migrated across to the 900S\NG900 with or without added modifications?

Thanks in advance.

The 9-3 seats are wider to accommodate the side seat air bags. This means that the tracks are wider on the 9-3 compared to the NG900. You can fab up brackets to move the bolting pattern on tour car. Look for a thread by ERP about the installation of the Viggen seats in his NG900. The regular 9-3 seats and those of the Viggen are of the same width.

Good luck
