I am starting on my audio overhaul with my car. I changed the recommended L+R speakers in the front. Sound better, but have atleast another 20 hours for break in. Anyway, I am satisfied with the bass coming from door speakers, but isn't clean when I wanna hear my dubstep. I am looking for just a little bit more kick as well as some more sound from the back.

I have heard many people saying upgrading the 4'' or adding 6x9's in the back won't do anything? I would like to hear someones opinion on this...

My goal is just to be a little bit more loud in the back, and have a small sub woofer in the back. I was wondering if I can tap the audio off of amp2 (I don't know if its full range, or just low frequencies) and go from there with my audiophile needs. I posted some pictures to help people see what I see.

TL:DR - From my understanding, 7 speaker systems didn't come with amp2? Can you tap audio from amp2 for a subwoofer, or to add 6x9's?

if you want to power the amp for the 6x9 you can use amp2 power lead as long as the power required to power the amp isn't more than the stock amp required power & earth to the body there are earthing points in the rear..also the remote switch on for the amp use the fuse for the dimming mirror as that is ignition switched..;ol;

here is a pic of the amp2 connector

+1 on Dubstep ;ol;;ol; Finally Someone on here with good taste!!

I'm thinking about doing the same thing, my L+R speakers are both blown, so I would have to replace them anyways, and I miss the aux in my 03 :( the sound system stock is pretty good, but more bass and more clarity would be kickkass. I'd like to hear more opinions on new 6x9's or an added sub myself.

Get a set of these.

This is what I purchased. They are still breaking in, but sound ok.

There is an aux kit you can buy. Someone easy to put in, but you need someone with a tech2 device (saab specialist) to turn it on.
