Means of contact: hockeynut4298@gmail.com or cell phone if requested
Price: best offer-negotiable
Transmission Type (auto/manual): Auto
Mileage (miles/kms): 127k
Description:
Body: Good shape overall. Charcoal gray, no rust. Small pebble marks from highway driving on hood. A few dings on the sides from normal parking lot activity. A few small scrapes on the bumper (I used to live in NYC). A small dent on the front passenger by the headlight, but no rust and paint is not scraped away. Shark fin has noticeable signs of sun wear. Driver headlamp needs a restoration kit because it's cloudy. Bulbs are all good, including front and rear fog lights. Plastic around lower frame of car and around side mirrors are weathered. Rear plastic is in pretty good shape though with minimal discoloration.
Interior: Driver seats has some superficial cracking. All other seats in great condition. No rips or cuts. Beige roofing in good shape, with a few dirty finger marks from the kids). Dash is in great shape and minimal skuffing all around. Plastic near headlight dial is tacky, as is the a/c button. Heated seats work perfectly. Sun roof works fine. Original radio is in there but original CD player was removed (I think I have it laying around in the garage) for an aftermarket receiver (replaced two years ago) and upgraded sound system (Infinity Kappa component speakers with amps and subwoofer in trunk, installed by a professional shop). Original radio works with the two front dash speakers only, with doors, rear deck and in dash component tweeters all with the aftermarket radio. Trunk is pretty clean overall. Carpeting is pretty clean overall. I have three sets of original SAAB floor mats, so one is brand new, one is used but in good condition, and one is the original to the car, which was lightly used and clean.
Mechanical: August 2015- replaced the alternator. The front passenger wheel has a torn CV boot, quoted repair was about $250 for parts/labor. The only other issue is a possible rear main seal. There's about a teaspoon of oil per day leak and shop said it's likely rear main seal. It's a VERY CHEAP part but a whole lot of labor. Shop said it needs a new cabin air filter, but nothing else noticeably falling apart.
Tires: 16" Firestone Affinity Touring P215 (width) 70,000 mile tires. I have the Firestone tire warranty for flat fix/tire replacement, so each tire has a slight difference in tread wear, as two have been replaced over the past few years. Using the OLDEST tires as a guideline, I'd say there's about 20k left on them, but that's a guess and they could be more or less for each tire.
Pictures (embedded pics or links to external albums are mandatory): I'm including pics that I hope show the good and bad. I'm posting a short video as well.... just me walking around the car... Also, see my follow up post with more pics
Virginia-specific: The car passed the yearly state inspection in July, so it's good until July 2016. Also, in VA we have a "personal property tax" and the car costs me about $50 or so per year, which is not much compared to newer cars in VA that can be over $400-500!
