Just had it looked at by the dealership and they found these things...

Mind you I do all my own work
Needs new rear pads - I knew about that $50 or so
Alighnment - $40 or so
Serpentin belt and tensioner - supposed to be done at 60K - $70 or so
GPS Antenna Loose - don' really care, but they said it would be $410 to fix
Some of the buttons for the SID, you had to push them a couple of times to get it to function properly - where can I get one of these, they quoted $275

Is it an ICM2 unit that the buttons don't work on or ICM1? Either one can be found on Ebay or Saab Central Classifieds.

I'm not really sure, how would I know, and how much do they usually cost?

It is a linear model with an aero wheel package. (i believe that includes 17in wheels, lowered suspension, and painted side skirts and fairings)

Is it a SIDC switch panel?

ICM1 no screen just push buttons
ICM2 has a indash display screen
ICM3 is larger color display screen that comes with Navigation system.

ICM1???
ICM2 Saab list price $590 ...can find used relatively easy and cheaper
ICM3 Saab list price $1390...hard to find used

How come it costs so much, at the dealership they quoted me for $250. It is only the buttons that control the SID that is going, the ones to the left of the radio. Do I still need to replace the whole unit?

You have the ICM2 from what you said above.

Is this what is gone.

How about the price of the car, do people feel it is reasonable? The dealership pulled the service records and was actually impressed with how much work was done on the car

Does it have the automatic? Earlier '03 cars had problem radiators that could contaminate the tranny fluid with engine coolent.
