I have a 2002 Saab 9-5 and my drivers window will go down nice and easy but will not go up at all I don't even hear anything when I try to put it up...
any suggestions for a diagnosis or how to find one?

couple things could be happening. The rubber window guide could have come out and is binding against the window preventing it from going up, The window rollers are on the verge of breaking and the window arm is flexing against them possibly bending....this happens a lot when the rollers are breaking.

I would suggest taking the door card off and inspecting the inside to see what is going on. Maybe even try to raise or lower the window while watching inside to get a better idea. Replace rollers if they are broken, heck id replace them just because they are known to fail
