Hey, new to the site,still learning to navigate it..my 02 9-5 aero 2.3t has what i think is multiple hvac problems. any air, hot or cold will not switch from floor to vent or def. have partly disassembled lh blend door assembly and can turn drum by hand and make it switch. Haven't pulled apart completely but am assuming a broken arm or stop.
also...when at a stop heat works on both sides,just wont switch function, but once you hit the highway it feels like cold/fresh air (winter here} pours in driver/lh foot well.
trying to avoid pulling everything apart to find problem. HELP!
I love this car! and have always fixed my own stuff, but this is my first SAAB..so codes its throwing at me w the off/auto function are
1-22,2-08,2-22,3-08 have looked these codes up, but im missing something.
Is there a fresh air/recirc door that could be stuck open letting in the cold air?
If so can i access it and close by hand until i have the time to properly repair?
