I own a 2002 9-5 Arc V6 with the Prestige (Harman/Kardon) stereo system. I'm curious about upgrading the stock stereo to something like a Pioneer FH-X700BT. I have a few questions regarding the upgrade:
As I have the prestige/AS3 stereo system with 9 speakers, will a new stereo be able to support output to all speakers? Will I need to make any modifications to it in order to support all speakers?
I have volume controls and forward/reverse track controls on the steering wheel. Is there any way to support these controls with a new stereo? Would a simple wiring harness (like this) do the trick?
