Hello everyone
I have received help from reading this site and would like to say thanks to all who have posted there knowledge for everyone to read.
I have recently had a problem with my car and after hours of searching finally fixed the problem and would like to share my knowledge with you.
My 2001 Saab 9-3 2.0 turbo had a brake light failure on the SID, my car would stall in reverse and would stall if i turned the defrost on.
What fixed my problem is a rusted ground wire located in the trunk on the drivers side.
I had to relocate the ground to a screw on the side wall and all has been fixed.
You will need to pull the carpet panel off to see the ground wires.(there is 2 wires)
I have attached a picture that shows where the location of the ground wire is.
I also gave a URL to the site that i got this info.
I hope this info saves someone 2 days of aggravation that i went through.
Cheers!
