This is what happened...
The oil light was flickering on and off while idle, so I thought the engine needs oil.
I added 2 lts and the oil light still blinks and the engine exhausts a smog cloud that my car now seems a crop fumigating plane.
I´ll appreciate your comments to this mess I created...

The oil light is NOT a quantity indication, it is a pressure indication. If you are getting the light at idle, you probably have sludge and need to drop the bottom. However, it might be too late as damage on the bottom end may have been done already.

The smoke could be from overfilling the engine. Did you ever check the dipstick?

Do you know if the sump had been dropped and is the latest PVC update in?

Is the oil light flickering on and off? I don't think it can exactly blink--though the Check Engine light can.

Either way, you want to drain out the excess oil and have the engine checked ASAP. Is it making any other noises--loud ticking, clanking, etc?

Sump and PCV kit

The smoke could be from overfilling the engine. Did you ever check the dipstick? I checked the dipstick and noticed the oil level was low.

The sump has not been dropped before and it dooes not have the latest PCV update.

If it were me, the only place I would drive the car was to a Saab Specialist to have the sump dropped and the PCV 6 installed.

As for damage, that's like asking "how long is a piece of string?".

The first place to suffer damage is the bottom end of the engine. If that hasn't happened, you are very lucky. Dropping the sump will allow a better look at the bottom end. If there is any brass in the sump, then I would expect the bottom end to let go fairly soon, but again, that's just a guess.

You really need to have the car looked at and I would only drive if absolutely necessary.

The oil light stop flickering...anyway I will take to the mechanic asap.
Just few more questions...can you tell me where is the excess oil is coming out? I checked the bottom and is all impregnated with oil including the exhaust pipe, so the oil is burned with the heat from the pipe. Is there a way to remove the excess oil I added?
Do you think excess oil will harm the turbo?
Thanks
