The 2.5bar fuel pressure regulator in my convertible seems to have a leaking diaphragm, there is fuel leaking through the vacuum port.

I do not have a 2.5bar regulator on me, but I do have a 3bar one. How bad would it be if I used it in my car? I know people usually replace them when they start upping the turbo, but I just want to get this taken care of.

If you have a lambda sensor on the car, it should cope but, if you haven't, I would expect that it would start to run rich.

That car is a 1988 turbo convertible and has a lambda sensor. I was concerned its LH 2.2 computer would get all pissy but I am glad to know it will figure out what to do. So, sometime today I will be changing it. :cheesy:
