I got a single P1312 when I checked after a CEL. No more since (3 days, no CEL since. To be safe I ordered the DIC, but is it safe to drive the car in the while we wait for Fedex to deliver?
Thanks for any advice ...

You're good to keep going unless the CEL is flashing - that's multiple misfires and can damage the catalytic converter.

There's always the danger of a suspected-bad DIC leaving you stranded somewhere though...

Meh, I drove a couple/few weeks with my CEL coming on intermittently (not flashing) with a P1312 before I coughed up the money for a new one. You should be safe.

Two years ago, I have to wait about 3 weeks until my DIC arrived from the states when I had P1312 and P1334 stored but no CEL.

But as you know your car is misfiring, do be gentle with it. :)

I changed the plugs & CPS too when I changed the DIC. The CPS because it was the original one that came with the car, might as well get all the firing related mechanism fresh.

And now my Aero just started doing the same :(

P1334 and P1312. Car runs nice and smooth with no missfires. Plugs are maybe 7K old.
