I have a 1999 Saab 9-3 convertible with automatic transmission. My check engine and check gear box lights are both on and the code is gave the shop when checked with a machine was that there was a problem with the Tcc solenoid ( torque converter clutch solenoid) well this being a foreign car we can't find where this solenoid is located. Can anyone tell us where to find it thanks in advance. Also the car is running and driving with no problems other than the lights being on so what ever it is its not causing it to run different.

Try this:

1. Press (W)inter or (S)port buttons and see if transmission switches to those modes, Sport or Winter will be illuminated on the instrument cluster.

2. Shift thru the gears and see if proper gear is illuminated on the cluster.

Also might be a defective Neutral Safety Switch (NSS) which is sending confusing info to the transmission computer.
