This really is the best way. Or you can keep throwing parts at it like I did after reading multiple threads with solutions to other people's problems. In the end, a diagnosis would've been a good idea. Second best idea would've been to start with the cheapest part!

It wouldn't hurt to get a volt meter and check for 12+ volts on the battery. They'll do that at the same auto store you rent (you get the money back) the fuel pressure tester

Did you figure out what the cause was?
