hi guys i have a 1996 9000 aero the shifter is very sloppy not so much gearbox but the shifter housing in car i know the saab shifters have always been disappointing ..i was wondering if anybody has heard if there is something that could be done with it or if someone makes a short shifter assy. for these cars...thanks for any input

They make a new linkage assembly that tightens the shifter feel up pretty good. Replacing it with either a new stock one or the upgraded one is the fix!

any idea of the name of any companies? i stumbled onto a site but the shifter assy. didn't look the same i understand some are upgraded parts and may appear different i just want to make sure before i pull the trigger...thanks for the help
