1995 saab 900 sev6 problems please help

HI I DRIVE A 1995 SAAB 900 V6 5Speed manual.
Recently i just got it running on the road and theres a CHECK ENGINE LIGHT ON!!! DOES ANYONE KNOW HOW TO CHECK FOR CODES FOR A 1995 SEEING HOW THEY DIDNT START USING OB11 SCANNERS STARTING 1996!?!?!?! THANKS AND ANY INFORMATION WOULD BE HELPFULL TO DIAGNOSING A CHECK ENGINE LIGHT ON A 1995 SAAB:evil:

Look in your manual or search the WIS because the 1996 and earlier OBD-I systems supported a "flash code" by shorting two pins on the diagnostic connector. I don't know which 2 pins are involved, but do remember reading about the flash codes... Ron
