The banjo bolts on the filter shouldn't be too tight because the recommended torque is like 15-20 ft/lbs. But, the banjo bolts, for some reason, are usually hard to loosen. And use some care, so you don't kink that plastic fuel line... Ron
Make sure your washers for banjo fittings are copper.I had aluminum washers on my car and it started to leak fuel because the roadsalt in winter ate the washers and caused a leak.
You will likely need a lot of leverage to loosen the banjo bolts;that is, wrenches with very long handles. You will need one wrench to hold the filter and another to turn the nut on the banjo. I think the wrench sizes are different at the two ends. The filter is free to wiggle about while you are doing this, so if you can figure a way to confine the filter and hold it in place the job will be much easier.
That's what I said on post number 4. The banjo bolts are supposed to be totrued to 16 ft/lbs, but they can be very tight when removing the filter... Ron
