I'm interested in switching out my B234 in my '95 900s with a later model 9000 turbo. Assuming I could get the the engine and turbo, what else would I need to fit it? I ran a search and it sounded like I needed donor parts from a turbo 900 as well. Has anyone successfully attempted this? Other than selling my 900s and buying a turbo, am I better off using a 9-5, 9-3, or other NG900 engine?

Will the engine be coming with the ECU and harness?

yeah if you have a non turbo, you have to swap over the entire wiring harness to the ecu and get the ecu, along with awhole neww exhaust and intake setup.

And the instrument cluster panel and even the transmission potentially as the gear ratios are diffrent (not 100% sure regarding the gear box but some people willl jump in for sure and clear us on that issue ) You'll also need the Intercooler and other odd stuff that is 2.0 turbo specific :cheesy:
