I have an '06 9-3 Aero Convertible that needs the front pads changed. Money is VERY tight right now and I can't afford the price the dealer charges for it. I have changd front pads several times on various GM vehicles. I'm in purchasing for a large auto parts warehouse and am thinking about getting pads from my Bendix rep and doing it myself.

Are any special tools needed to change the pads on my 9-3? Are the caliper bolts slide in or Torx head? Is there a web site that shows diagrams that I can see before starting to take it apart?

Thanks,

Adam

Without taking anything apart yet, I was able to turn the wheels all the way to one side and feel around enough to know that the caliper bolts on the '06 take a T-55 Torx.
