My wife's 03 Saab 9-5 fails to sart intermittingly in the mornings. The engine will crank and crank, until you give it some gas, then its starts right up and runs fine. Any suggestions to a quick fix. The car has 75,000 miles on it, with no problems.

Hi Rob, welcome to SaabCentral. What model does your wife drive 2.0lpt/2.3lpt/2.3Aero? Start problems are usually plug related, what spark plugs is the car running, when were they last changed? A dirty air filter can also cause problems.

The engine is a 2.3 Turbo in Linear trim. The plugs were changed with NGK's less than 5000 miles ago. I went with what everyone recommeded on this site. I also checked the air cleaner when I changed plugs and it was new. I have no service history on the fuel filter, so I'll change it next.
