My right front hid with auto leveling flickers I have replaced the bulb several times only last about six or seven month with continuous flicker I have checked grounds all are tight left side no problems just the right tried after market bulbs once burned out after turning it on the second time please help getting tired of replacing bulbs what would cause this to happen?

I had the same situation (two bulbs in 6 months), it turned out to be a crappy connecting at the bulb. The plastic plug would slide on okay but the metal was not gripping the bulb pin well enough and there was a tiny bit of arching going on.

I had to take a pair of very pointy pliers and pinch the metal reciever.

I will look into that when I get home thanks I work offshore. One other thing what is the differents between d1s and d1r bulbs I believe mine takes d1s?
