I went to saab they want to charge me $15 a quart. I want to know if i can put an other oil in it. thanks, by the way i bought a pcv upgrade kit and i am having a little bit or hard time with where the hose goes. Do anyone have a picture on how to set it up thanks

The MTF and its source should be in your owners manual. This may need to be edited.

Castrol SMX-S MTF is a bit thin.
Redline light is too.

Most synthetic 75WXX GL4/5 gear oils are good.

Don't put mineral GL5 in though!

There are lots of oil threads on here. If you can get the Saab oil, it's as good as any.
