    I'm in the process of changing my discs and the old discs at the rear are of the vented variety. Can you just simply fit solid discs with the existing caliper? Also are the brake pads the same for vented and solid discs? Thanks,

    done my brakes over the weekend , its a 2001 so had solid rear disks so upgraded to the newer vented ones but the calipers i got are duff , my mot is out so need done asap but the local parts supplier cant find vented calipers for saab 9-5 but can find ones for the 9-3 , anyone know if these...
