All my plastic trim has discoloration but mainly the front and rear bumpers where there’s more surface, any tips on getting that back to its black/dark gray state? I tried some leftover C4 ceramic coating I used on my NG 9-3 that worked perfect but not so much on my OG.

Since picking this up a few weeks ago I'm finding more nicks and dings... a few smaller ones than I originally noticed upon buying. The 2 biggest ones are: 1. Slight impact on left front corner. Bumper gouged and chrome strip cracked. Reglued poorly. I cleaned it up and reglued it better. Might...

So I just had the car's paint refreshed. So happy with it. The faded trim under the doors is bothering me. I last did a mask off/respray about 6 years ago on my '95 900S (RIP 😔) and it turned out great. Decided I'll try to take these and the mudflaps off for TLC. Starting from the rear tire, 1st...

So, my college car was an '85 non turbo three door. I've always wanted to get my hands on a minter SPG, but they're a bit few and far between, and getting fewer and farther each day. This is probably my 13th or 14th Saab, and although this isn't the one I've been holding my breath for...

Trim frame on drivers side is present but there's a good wide gap between it and the window. No wiper seal present. Is there any replacement part for that commercially available? Part of the one on passenger side torn away too, but none on driver side. Thinking I can repair these with new...

I went ahead and fixed mine for $15 using SEM 39143 black trim paint from Amazon. Thought I'd share some before and after pics. The after pic doesn't quite do it justice since the light reflects but you get the idea. Overall satisfied. There is still some texture even after some light...

I've grown a little tired of the 'standard' GM 'Burl' finish on the dash panels, given that most every full size GM SUV has the same basic look to it. I've seen some potentially intriguing options, even other wood grains, that might update the interior nicely, but I was hoping to see what...

I recently bought my 2004 9-5 Arc 2.3T. The badge on my trunk lid says "2.3T". I've often seen "2.3t", "2.3T", and "2.3 Turbo" mentioned in various posts. What is the difference in the engines, if any, and am I correct in assuming that the badge on the trunk lid (boot lid, for you...

Took them off to give them the SEM Trim Black treatment, nice fresh paint Here are a bunch of pics I took while taking them off so people will know how they come off in the future. I did some searching and saw talk, but couldn't find any pics. If I missed a post and they are here, well I am...

Hi fellas, I've been creeping around these boards since I picked up my Saab about a year ago. I have got some really good advice on things such as the blower motor and other bits a pieces that have saved me an absolute ton of money. However I now have a question it seems may not have been...

Good Day All! Long time no see, glad to see so many familiar names here... Has anyone else had problems with either the key FOB or door trim (elbow rest area) degrading and becoming sticky? I thought the battery was leaking in one of my key FOBs, dealer replaced it. But now the replacement, as...

I want to get the turbo x on a dyno (mostly to see how much the negative fuel trim I have effects its performance) but the problem is that I can only do it on one for front wheel drive... Does anyone know where I can find the haldex fuse to enable me to do this?? Also, does anyone know whether...

I have a 2003 Linear and the body is in just awful shape. I figure now that I have a job and can afford to spend some money, I might as well do some body upgrades. The paint on the car has been destroyed by Florida sun since the previous owner had never waxed it for the first 7 years of it's...

I'm trying to pull the plastic wood trim off the door panels. I'm looking to wrap them in 3m di-noc CF. I have been prying on it like some of the other trim pieces which just snap on and off, but its on there snug and I feel like its going to snap. Anyone have any experience with these? I...

After having polished my car i noticed that my trim had a white residue on it, which can come from either polish or wax. There are many people who recommend buying wax blaster or other professional products and then there are those who recommend peanut butter and a tooth brush. The method i...

I'm replacing the plastic trim on the driver's seat and I need to take the buttons off that move the seat. Does anyone know how to take the buttons off of the module so that I can remove the plastic trim? Thx.
