Hello, I have a 2007 Saab 9-3 2.8 Aero wagon. It has a P0201 engine code for open circuit on the cylinder 1 injector, and a misfire on cylinder 1. I took it to a saab mechanic, and they didn't really do much diagnosing (just quoted the codes back at me that I gave them originally, and wanted...

Any one know the size of the inlet for the turbo? Looking to grab a kit off ebay so I can strap it around the opening.

I have an instrument cluster, that from what I have found is from a 9-3. The part number is 12776072. The dealership I work out was ready to throw this in the garbage and I was wondering if there is a way to test it. Does anyone know which pins are for power? Luckily there are only 12 pins so it...

Hi. I have just bought a 1997 900S convertible. It's great, but I can't get the OBD2 reader to connect to the port under the steering wheel ( the reader works fine). Is the OBD2 port fused? Does anyone else have this problem or have suggestions about what's wrong? Cheers John

Im going to be doing a TD04 swap soon and a tune on my 04 Linear, and one of my buddies suggested I do a compression test before modding. Is anyone here familiar with comp.tests on our cars? It has just over 100,000kms (60k miles) and all the maintenance is done on time... do you guys think it...

I have an 07 9-3 Aero with approx 59k miles on it. It initially started with a "hiccup" every once in a while. Over time, the feeling has changed, and it feels closer to a misfiring. I have not gotten a CEL to date, so I can't be sure. So my question there a way to test the coils...

Hi all, I'm trying to diagnose a problem with my sunroof, and I figure the obvious place to start is with the switch mechanism (the assembly of window switches in the center console). Does anyone know how to diagnose the assembly with a multimeter or otherwise after I remove it? I want to...

How do I test the fuel pump? I went over to the back seat and found the two harnesses. Following instructions for a 1999 9-3 (whereas mine is a 2001 9-3)... The brown harness when unplugged shows the Fuel Gauge not working when key ON, so I am guessing it's the black harness with three wires...

As some of you will recall, I completely replaced the engine oil cooler lines and the oil filter housing to stop a fairly serious loss of oil from those components a short while back. I have been carefully monitoring the engine bay to see if I figure out where other oil leaks are occuring but...

I know there are certain buttons you can press to activate diagnostics/calibrations. For instance, on my 2000 93SE Conv., when you press AUTO and OFF simultaneously, it takes you through the calibration for all the HVAC flapper doors (that's how I located the problem with my blend door). The...

Hello, I'm going shopping for a 900. Today I'm supposed to have a look at a 1990 900S with 100000 miles (160000 kms). Anyways I was wondering if there was a way to test with transmission issues on the automatic? Should I just shift through the lower gears? I had a look in the buyers guide, and...
