The sunroof won't close without physically pushing the wind reflector down as I'm certain something broke. I remember seeing a thread on this but cannot find it. Someone mentioned replacing these were the fix? 32101253 by OES | Sunroof Arms and Clip Set I have to do this on an 04 an 08.

Hey everyone, I wanted to share with you what I did about my sun roof not opening all the way, which I hear is a common problem with the Saab sun roof. I asked the mechanic to look at my sun roof. He said the clips were broken and in order for the sun roof to close and open all the way on its'...

EDIT: My sunroof opens and closes, but the sunroof doesn't seem to lift the back end up to make it level. There is a very load air current audible from within the vehicle when driving. I've tried manually closing the sunroof with a screwdriver but it will not go any farther than where it is at.

Spring has arrived this week, and I went to open my sunroof yesterday and when pulling back all the way on the button the window would lower then just stop and get jammed up. I had to push the button forward a few times for it to push up again into the closed position. I would have to repeat...

I have a 2008 Saab 9-3 Aero. The sunroof has two arms that serve to push the wind deflector down when the glass slides toward closing. Each arm has a "T" shaped pivot pin that fits through an oval shaped grommet that snaps into an oval shaped hole on each side of the wind deflector. These...

Hi I have a 2004 SAAB 9-3 Aero and the sunroof has been acting up. It never worked when I bought the car so I am trying to fix it. Basically I can't get it to open. When I slide the switch forward, towards the windshield, it moves an inch or so along the track (tilt only, does not slide)...

New here, so I apologize if this has been discussed. New owner of a 1997 900SE turbo, and the sunroof leaks. I already saw the thread about clogged drainn holes, and I've determined that's not the issue. Well, today, my kids found a gasket-y thing hiding in the hatchback, and I am pretty sure...

Hello Everyone, I have a 2004 9-5 Aero and last weekend my sunroof stopped before shutting completely. It will open the full way but once I try to shut the sunroof, it stops about 6 inches before completely sealing shut. I'm not exactly sure what to do or where to take it. I need to get it...

Hi all, The moonroof in my 2001 9-3 recently started getting temperamental about closing - sometimes it would close, sometimes it wouldn't. Right around the same time, the battery started slowly losing its charge. I'm inferring a lot here by pointing at the moonroof, but the battery issue...

I have a 99 9-3 and the sunroof glass delaminated from the metal frame underneath and blew out. Trying to replace it, but all I find available are sunroof glass with a metal frame that the glass fits into, not the flush glass design I had. Was this a 1999 specific part? It's a different size...

I have a 2007 9-3 SportCombi. It came without the black accordian side covers covering the mechanisms that open the sunroof. I guess they didn't include these on the models without pinch protection. I bought the parts (p/n 1279-8429) because I wanted to install them and cover the mechanisms. I...

Ok, my sunroof has never worked. But I am turning a new leaf (and some new bills) so I figured I would fix it! However, I'm not to sure how to go about doing it  I have a repair manual that seems to be quite vague on how to remove it and replace various mechanisms :( And what is with...

I am not sure what the parts I need are called, but the spring-loaded clips that hold the bar that pops up when the sunroof is open broke. I think the bar is an internal wind deflector to keep the wind from rushing down at high speeds. Anyway, I wanted to but two of those clips.... Thanks for...

Something happened to my sunroof. We've had some insane winds and I returned to my car to find it cracked. Regardless of how it happened I need to find a replacement. There is no sign of material or something that would damage it. I think it was because of pressure. Do you know if insurance...

Hi, I have an '01 Saab 93 and recently started having some troubles with the sunroof. I'm guessing that it is a problem with the switch, but any thoughts or ideas would be very welcomed! The switch only seems to work in one direction (if I push the switch forward it will work, if I push it back...

The bar that locks down the rear window panel when closing the soft top, seems to be stuck in the closed position which means the c-ring will not properly engage into the correct locking place. My husband has now disengaged the lever which has isolated the electric motor, he had hoped this might...
