I have an 07 9-3 2.0T with 206k miles on the clock. Except for the tie rods (inner and outer), the suspension is all original (to my knowledge). Steering is pretty good, or at least not awful, and as it is the car drives fine but squeaks and creaks and the suspension otherwise sounds worn out...

Has anyone tried to use WD40 instead of electrical tape to fix rattles/creaks/squeaks? WD40 just seems so much easier to apply than electrical tape...although it does have the smell that takes time to go away.
