I'm aware of the usual options (Eibach/H&R/Vogtland + Bilstein/Koni), but I get a big discount on OEM parts, so I thought I should...
I have a 2006 2.0T with standard chassis. I've upgraded to Koni FSD's and would like a sportier spring and ARB package with stock ride height or with not more than 15mm (1/2") lower ride height (FSD's can only accept up to 15 mm drop).
I have not been able to find any after market springs...
Just wanted to ask if it is common for the springs to snap/shear on 93 Aeros (54 plate) as my drivers front spring did just that this morning whilst slowly moving out of my parking space?
Also if I decide to lower the car instead of just replacing the springs with the standard Aero springs...
