    I need to rebuild or have my alarm module refurbished. (I am getting the warning 'Service Theft Alarm'.) Are the modules interchangeable between model years? Specifically can I rebuild one from a 1999 parts car and install into a 2001?(Both are 2.3t)

    Yes, I have already read the FAQ. I have a 2003 9-5 Linear 2.3T w/ 5 speed tranny. She has 113,xxx miles on her. I have gotten the "service theft alarm" on my SID off and on for about 9 months. It has been so nice as to randomly go off at 2 AM multiple nights in a row and will not turn off...

    So, the notorious "Service Theft Alarm" message appeard on my SID today. And the "Front Light Failure", the one linked to the orange relay, has become ever more present. :evil: I'm seriously thinking of buying something new again :confused:
