radio code

    I have a question about radio, I have take out a radio from a previous Saab I've owned. I don't know at this time the radio need to be divorced from the car Asking to Saab Mech how I can put this in my other actual Car HE SAYS" throw it away this is useless" no codes in Really ? any help...
