    Manual 2001 9-3: Cleaning up my engine bay and I noticed a small hole on top of the transmission that's filled with fluid. It seems to have no bottom (pushed driver down to see if it was shallow, and it seems like it may be open. What the heck is this thing? Is it supposed to be plugged?

    Howdy yall - Does my 1995 900s have an OBD1 or OBD2 code port under the steering wheel? I think its OBD1... either way it isn't working and I need it inspected like yesterday... any tips/info would rock. I saw a few threads about chkng the pins and/or replacing the port. Not sure I could...

    there is a port open on my engine that i am wary of. on other saabs ive seen a restrictor plate in place over the circled area in the above picture, and i am wondering why i do not have that and why the heck mines different:o i have oil on the side of my engine block above the top right corner...

    Hi. I have just bought a 1997 900S convertible. It's great, but I can't get the OBD2 reader to connect to the port under the steering wheel ( the reader works fine). Is the OBD2 port fused? Does anyone else have this problem or have suggestions about what's wrong? Cheers John
