  1. 9-5 Workshop
Hello everyone, I have two hoses I can't identify. They run together, but only the top one is labeled as a "Fuel" hose. I suspect it was just the hose, whoever changed it, had available, but I don't know if it actually transports fuel or not. The case is, that a mouse found one of these hoses...

Hi, I have a 2004 Saab 9-5 2.3t Auto (B235) I was trying to replace APC Boost Control Valve (Part no. 55557331). This is the black one with the three prongs arranged vertically and marked up R, C & W. After giving the old one a good yank, I also pulled out two of the three hoses. I just want...

Hi, everyone. I'm looking for some help. I just bought a 2006 Arc Convertible. To start with it was great, everything I ever wanted in a car. Then I noticed oil in front of my left rear tire. After a quick investigation, I found that the left tonneau cylinder was leaking from the seal towards...

I have a 2005 9-3 ARC Turbo. I have a coolant leak, and my mechanic says its because I need to replace the following: "T-stat housing, and Oil cooler hoses (from T-stat housing to oil cooler). Should be 2 hoses, one about 1.5', the other about 2.5' in length" His normal parts dealer...

I have a slight leak from the driver's side close to the reservoir I believe...haven't looked for the leak yet. Symptoms are a small puddle under the car and I have to refill the reservoir with about 2 cups or so of coolant every 3 days or so. Just enough to get it back up to the normal fill...

I recently bought a 1999 Saab 9-5 2.3 for next to nothing. Runs, drives, but stalls or falls into low RPMs while idling. I'm throwing two codes, but only one that's truly serious for the time being. It's P0300 a misfire code as it reads on the scanner. I checked my plugs and they're all good...

Hello everyone My faithful '99 9-3 was mishandled by my mechanic after a transmission swap done two months ago. Last week the car began misfiring and when I opened the hood found a broken plastic nipple with the corresponding hose blocked using zip ties. Also another hose that goes into the...

What is the best way to detect a large evaporative leak? I had codes P171 and P0455. I've removed and cleaned the MAF sensor; the codes remain. Should I replace all hoses on the car if I got a great parts supplier quote? Is that something a beginning DIYer can do?

Can you identify this part temporarily held by the plastic tie? Is it easily replaced? Thank you!

Just finished the install of the enhanced update kit this morning - and I have a feeling what I removed was 9 years and 177,000 miles old... I was prepping myself to do the job after I started getting mayo after the snow melted away. Then, torrential oil leaks began so I decided my 4 days off...

I have a vacuum leak on my 95 and I just cant seem to find it. I replaced all the hoses coming out of the vacuum pump. The leak sounds like it is coming from the area of the fourth injector, the one in front of the driver. I'm ready to pull my hair out. I really don't want to take it to a...

I need to replace the top large vacuum hoses that runs from t he throttle body to (I think) the injector rail. While I'm at it I thought I would replace both large hoses and the smaller one that comes off the pcv. Do I need special hoses for this or will regular vacuum hoses work?
