    Hi friends. Usually when the tank gets filled there is a gas smell in the trunk. The filler and vent tubes do not seem to be the source. Maybe the fuel pump or sender have leaky gaskets? I oped the two access caps and see anything, but it does seem "gassy" in there! Do I need a special fuel pump...

    I've read some threads about this, but was not exactly sure what to do to go about solving the problem. What do you guys suggest? It only smells strong after i top off the gas tank... I'm gonna stop filling it completely up in the mean time to avoid the strong smell, but its really bothering...
