Hi, I have a problem with my car, 1996 Saab Ng900 turbo. When I turn on ACC the rpm of the engine decrease to 800 and even 750. Without the ACC the engine works at 950 - 1000 rpm. I have read that the connector 1 of the IAC valve comes from pin 49 of the ecu. This one gives more "power" to the...

So my acc was working a few months ago (tested it during spring to see if it need anything, worked fine). Right now, it only blows hot air. The compressor kicks in, so that's working, and if i turn the temp all the way down low - i can feel it blowing a bit cool (not cold at all, but not hot)...

Hello, SAAB 9-5 Aero MY05, I am looking for the SAAB or OEM part number for the ACC unit display ribbon cable. Thank you in advance Tuan

Hey gang, I was driving on the Freeway today and had to punch it, I got a CEL and my AC stopped working, pulled the tech 2 and I got codes for both fan control circuits. Does this mean it's the relay? I've replaced it with a brand new one including both fans less than a year ago. Thoughts?

Good Evening! I'm semi new to saabs as you know. I'm not sure if my ACC is shot, or if I'm not using properly. It seems the temp sensor that is near the seat heater button is buzzing and making noise. I searched some threads here, and have seen a few names for this. what is the actually...

Hi all, My 2002 9-3 ACC isn't providing me any intermediate temperatures. I get either super hot when I bring the ACC up to "HI," or I get cold air blowing on me for any temperature setting below "HI." I've run the ACC calibration a handful of times with no change. I'm not getting any...

My A/C's been going out on my 2000 Aero for a time. Car is not regularly driven (especially in summer for that reason). Found some good help on other threads, but still have a question based on my background gathering trying to decide to try home charge or not. Status: No cold, no compressor...

Hey all, I submitted the last payment for my car this month and damn if I didn't just run into an issue. I took the car to the indie Saab shop last week for a coolant recharge. The AC had been working, but not very well. He charged it up and added dye, and also cleaned the radiator, which he...

Recently purchased 99 9-3 and the ACC panel appears to be inop, as in no power going to the ACC box itself -no lights display, buttons don't do anything, unable to pull up error codes, no hot air, no cold air, no defrost, nothing. Fuses are fine, switched out with another ACC box and still...

Hi Friends. My A/C stopped working. I checked all relays, fuses and connections. Then I checked the flap motor behind the ACC unit and it is good. Then I checked the flap motor next to the audio amp, and the flap mechanism was stuck. I unstuck it, and the A/C seems better. But that motor moved...

If I choose to replace my working (buttons are faded) Automatic Climate Control buttons/module...I'm talking the whole module... Do I need to remove it with a Tech2 first and then add the new/replacement one with a Tech2? Anyone have the WIS instructions on this?

Greetings! I've recently obtained my second Saab - A 2005/11 9-5 Aero wagon with auto transmission. However, unlike the other saab I own ('05 9-3 convertible in totally mint condition) this one has quite a lot of issues. One of them is the automatic climate control (ACC). It works OK for the...

Hey folks, I've probably tried to run this question by before but I can't find it. I've got a 04 9-3 Aero and Installed and programmed an ACC unit with heated seats and swapped both front seats from an 06 that had heated seats from the factory. After quite a bit of research, I've learned...

My 2002 9-3 with ACC never seems to get the interior fully toasty. It feels like there's some cool air mixing in with the heated air coming out of the vents. I ran the ACC calibration, and no errors were reported. When I turn off the ACC altogether (select the "off" button), I feel a lot of...

Hello everyone! I just created this profile so i could ask you guys for help. I've had the famous 08 Acc code for a couple of mounts, just hot air from the left (left driving) side, so I thought that I should look in to it more when the weather became smoother like now. I've been wokring...

My Saab is an '01 9-3 SE Manual. Up until today I have had heat and relatively cold A/C in my car and the fan speed could have been whatever was set and it would perform with no issues. Today I turned on my car and the ACC said the fan was on full blast but no air was coming out. I tested the...

I've been shopping around for my manual 2000 9-3 and the guy on the phone said there is a different ACC systems for a convertible 9-3. Is that true? What are the differences?

Hi, I've bee away from the forum for a while. One of my 9-5's is giving me the code 09, right blend door open/short. So I went to a junkyard and got a replacement and when installed it didn't work either. Tried it with the other motor plug and the motor works good (both of them). Next step was...

I am trying to get heat on the left side of my 2000 Gary Fisher and am puzzled by the inner workings of the heater box (error code 1-8). I removed the stepper motor and snorkel and have tried to manually move the blend door flap by reaching around inside to the inner part of the shaft. I can't...

I recently came into a SAAB 9-5. The interior was in bad need of cleaning, so I broke out my upholstery extractor and cleaning supplies. Everything is great except for some of the buttons on the radio and ACC. They had a sticky residue, and I have been unable to clean them successfully. I...
