  2. door locks opening back up

    9000 Workshop
I am not sure how a tech 2 works. I would suggest psychicallymoving the lock the way the book suggests because Saab has made thisinteresting connection with computers large and small and actual physicalmechanical movement. So, I guess I am saying, I would work the key manually becausethere has...

I did the brake pads on my 1993 9000 last year—but theystill seem like they should be better. I bleed them and still not as good asthey should be. Should I move the 4 mm Allen on the rear pads brake in closer? Orwhat am I missing? Moreover, the E Brakedoes have a lot of travel. Should I fix...

Try hotwiring the fuel pump to push fuel into rail, will notcost anything and worth a shot, or if you have a different EDC try it. Perhaps thefuel injectors are not working and not getting the correct signal when coldout.

It is precaution because you are separating the top halffrom the bottom half of the engine and they have got to back together synchronized. If the pistons move the cam markings are irrelevant. In addition, look for your cam markings toinsure everything is correct upon reassembly.

Set the engine to TDC compression stroke in case you movethe cams, so that you have a reference. The best way I found was to remove thelittle cover on the trans bellhousing at the back of the engine then with thevalve cover off look at number one piston to make sure both valves are up andclose...

When I was redoing my 1993, I met some guys who loved theirTCS and as a result they would have had the ETB system (electronic throttlebody).
