Hello all, Is there a seal missing from this oil pressure sensor? I would assume there is, but couldn’t find a seal for it online. Thanks everyone 😸

I have found nothing on my car that has anything that says “GM” on it, and I have taken most of both cars apart in one form or another.

  4. 9-3 what's 'OG' ?

    NG900 & OG9-3 Workshop
All the parts have a Saab marking on them. If it were a GM part, it would be marked GM. Thats all im saying. I have searched salvage yards in person, and not found any GM parts to match anything, and I am in the heart of "GM country" where salvage vehicles are a plenty.....

    NG900 & OG9-3 Workshop
If you are speaking ownership, then yes owned 50% by GM. That doesn't mean thats also 50% parts in the car. If that were true, where are all the markings on things that say "GM"

    NG900 & OG9-3 Workshop
Whats an odd thing, I didn't state how much or what is Saab and what is GM, I simply stated both of my Saabs are pretty much all Saab. I have not seen 1 part on mine that is marked with a GM stamp.

Original Generation My 2001 is all Saab and no GM, respectively. They (GM) owned a major chunk of the company in 2001, but it wasn't until after I believe the 2003s, in '04, where the cars turned into NG. Us saab "affectionately" call those No Good LOL but it stands for Next Gen.

See if a previous year's parts from a salvage yard fit. Check a wiring diagram, and also see if your harness has extra unused wires first before spending the dough
  19. New Saab owner... got any advice? Oil pan drop?

    9-5 Workshop
I believe if you look up a saab vin decoder online it says what trim level you are at, but I don't remember for sure. As for the other questions, the sludge will mainly be in the oil pan because of the proximity of the exhaust to the pan. It will be "dirty" under the valve cover, but in all...
